Winner of the 2024 California Book Award gold medal for fiction, Blackouts has been described as "a queer-Gothic verson of Hotel California" (The Gaurdian). That description alone should pique our interest in reading it! Author Justin Torres will join us via Zoom to discuss the whys and wherefores of writing this intriguing novel. The book also presents stories-within-stories to keep us on our toes. This may prove to be one of our most interesting book discussions—so don't miss it!

This program will be held in Zoom; registrants will receive a link to the Zoom program.
